Winners of the 2013 River City Blues Society Blues Challenge, Richmond, Virginia and competed in the International Blues Challenge in Memphis, TN in 2014, Herbie D and the Dangermen is a 4 piece, acoustic blues band that delivers a unique sound created by the inclusion of an upright bass, swapping out an electric guitar in favor of an acoustic guitar, and by replacing the traditional harmonica with a saxophone.
